Danae is now a Board-Certified Addiction Psychiatrist! She has been working with the University of Maryland’s psychiatry department diversity committee to pioneer a Social Justice Curriculum. This effort has produced series of Grand Round lectures on DEI topics, a database of articles, curricula, popular press and other media for the department to support individual learning and for lecturers to use to revise/address their own lectures for deficits in DEI. She is also working to help trainees address DEI/SJ questions in their required research and QI projects!
