Matthew Abrams was one of six medical students honored for their humanitarian efforts at the inaugural Diebel Excellence in Service Awards held on December 16, 2019. The awardees were acknowledged for volunteering and holding leadership positions in several of the medical school’s service organizations including the KNIGHTS Clinic and MEDPACt, and for providing care for underserved patients in Central Florida communities and rural districts in Peru.
