Congratulations to Ashmeer Chima, REACH Trainee (cohort 3) was invited to provide a poster presentation at the 2021 AAAP Annual Meeting and Scientific Symposium on “Loperamide: A Cheap and Easy High”! Ashmeer presented a case of a woman who, after failing multiple antidepressant medications, began using Loperamide at high doses to target her depression. As a new, and safe way to target loperamide misuse, Ashmeer explores the utility of using Suboxone.
